The 4-Pillar Silicon Benchmark Standard

  • 1. Deterministic Testing: Every inference test is run across minimum 10,000 iterations to establish p50, p95, and p99 latency distributions, factoring in cold-start vs. warm cache cycles.
  • 2. Isolated Hardware Monitoring: Silicon power draw is logged via dedicated inline hardware probes (e.g. shunt resistors and PCIe power monitors) rather than inaccurate software-estimated metrics.
  • 3. Reproducible Codebases: Testing scripts, Docker containers, and quantized model weights are cited and preserved so readers can reproduce published metrics.
  • 4. Rapid Corrections: Any identified errata in silicon specifications, driver flags, or compiler settings are updated immediately with an explicit change log.
